These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Colourful World Counselling Therapies website and the services provided by us (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking an appointment, accessing our website, or engaging in therapy, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services
We provide counselling, psychotherapy, neurodiversity‑focused support and menopause‑informed therapy for adults, young people aged 12+, couples and families.
All services are delivered professionally, ethically and in accordance with UK counselling standards.
3. Eligibility
You must be aged 18 or over to book an adult session. Young people aged 12–17 may attend with parental or guardian consent.
4. Appointments & Booking
Appointments can be booked via telephone, email, text or through our website.
Session Length
All sessions last 1 hour, unless otherwise agreed.
Online Sessions
Online appointments are available via WhatsApp, Facetime or Messenger.
Availability
Appointments are offered in Saline and Dunfermline. Availability may vary and is not guaranteed.
5. Payments
Payment is due at the time of your session unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods:
- Cash
- BACS bank transfer
Block bookings must be paid in advance. If a block booking is cancelled part‑way through, completed sessions are charged at full rate and the remaining balance refunded.
6. Cancellation Policy
We operate a 24‑hour cancellation policy.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fail to attend your session, the full session fee will be charged.
This ensures fairness and protects appointment availability for all clients.
7. Additional Charges
Additional support outside scheduled sessions may incur fees:
- Text / social media messages: £20 per 5 messages
- Urgent phone calls: £30 per 15 minutes
These charges ensure boundaries and fairness across all client support.
8. Confidentiality
Everything discussed in therapy is confidential except in the following circumstances:
- You disclose information indicating serious risk of harm to yourself or others
- You disclose information relating to certain criminal activities
- We are legally required to share information (e.g., court order)
- Professional supervision (your identity is not shared)
Where possible, we will discuss this with you before any information is shared.
9. Your Responsibilities as a Client
By attending therapy, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when booking
- Attend sessions on time
- Engage respectfully and safely
- Inform us of any changes that may affect your therapy
- Not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or drugs
We reserve the right to end sessions early or decline future appointments if behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate.
10. Our Responsibilities

11. Website Use
